This section is for students who are making their first attempt to pass the CNA Written Registry Examination and will be taking the exam between August 25, 2025 and August 30, 2026.  This is for payment only.  Once registered you will receive an email with scheduling instructions.  Students who successfully pass both the State CNA Registry written and skills exams will be placed on the Iowa Direct Care Registry, making them eligible to work as a nurse's aide in a long term care center. Any individual may challenge the exams. IHCC offers the Written Registry Examination on a one-on-one basis by appointment only. Tests are administered in the Indian Hills Testing Center located in Trustee Hall.
