This course is approved by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners. It is a 55-hour comprehensive coaching education course that, upon successful completion, will provide you with the essential knowledge and credentials to earn your coaching authorization license. This is a hybrid class, 12 hours of face-to-face classroom and the additional online course work completed at your own pace. At the completion of the course work two tests will be taken with an 80% or better pass rate to receive the Coaching Authorization Certificate.
Once our certificate is obtained you can complete your application for coaching authorization with the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners, completing all background check forms and submitting all the required fees at www.boee.iowa.gov/licauthorization/coaching-authorization
**Indian Hills also offers CPR training** This course meets the coursework and CPR requirement for the state's coaching authorization application.
