HeartCode ACLS through RQI is a blended learning delivery method for the AHA’s ACLS Course. HeartCode 2025 ACLS is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that uses adaptive learning technology to allow learners to acquire and demonstrate ACLS skills using a personalized learning path that adapts in real time to a learner’s performance and gives learners more control to complete the course at their own pace. Approximately one business day after registration students will receive an email from "RQI Partners and RQI1Stop" advising they have been given a new assignment. Students will use the link in this email to set up their RQI account and begin their on-line course. Students will have one month to finish the on-line portion (Part 1) of the course. Because of its adaptive approach learners will usually need 8.5-11 hours to finish this portion. Providers may take the course at any time. Upon successful completion of part 1, students should email ashley.koll@indianhills.edu to schedule their hands on assessment (Part 2). The skills session is completed on campus and may be done Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-3:30pm at any time, excluding office/College closures and/or College breaks. This assessment will take approximately 45 minutes. Students have 2 months after completion of the on-line course (Part 1) to complete the hands-on assessment (Part 2).
Students can expect to receive an email from the CEWS department within 1-2 business days following their registration with instructions detailing how to access their online learning portal as well as how to complete their assignment.
