Students who successfully pass both the State CNA Registry written and skills exams will be placed on the Iowa Direct Care Registry making them eligible to work as a CNA in a long term care center. Any individual may challenge the CNA exams. IHCC offers the CNA Skills Registry Examinations on Fridays, typically twice a month. All students must be preregsitered and prepaid, no walk-ins will be allowed for the exam.

Notice

Please read:  Students will be staggered to arrive at different times throughout the day and should expect to be here up to 2 hours after their scheduled report time. Students will be contacted the week of testing and will be given their specific time to arrive for testing.  Students who arrive early should remain in the upstairs lobby of the building until their designated time. Students must bring a photo ID, something to write with and know their social security number which is required for the state. Students should wear solid colored scrubs and wear a watch with a second hand.
