This course is for the individual who has already completed the Heartcode PALS on-line class (part 1) and just needs to complete a skills check off (part 2). If individuals have not yet purchased the Heartcode PALS on-line class directly from the AHA they should register for our PALS Heartcode Complete (Part 1 & 2) class.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course aims to improve outcomes for pediatric patients by preparing healthcare providers to effectively recognize and intervene in patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest by using high-performance team dynamics and high-quality individual skills.
Providers will need to bring their certificate fron the on-line class to this skill check off. At the skill check off they will need to demonstrate adult/child and infant compressions, ventilations and 2-person CPR. The skill check off will take approximately 45 minutes. After registering, they will be sent an email with instructions on how to schedule the skill check off which can be done at any time the College is open.
