This course is for the individual who has already completed the Heartcode ACLS on-line class (part 1) and just needs to complete a skills check off (part 2). If individuals have not yet purchased the Heartcode ACLS on-line class directly from the AHA they should register for our ACLS Heartcode Complete (Part 1 & 2) class.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) builds on the foundation of Basic Life Support (BLS), emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. The instruction and simulated cases in this advanced course are designed to help enhance their skills in the recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute arrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes.
Providers will need to bring their certificate fron the on-line class to this skill check off. At the skill check off they will need to demonstrate adult compressions, ventilations and 2-person CPR. The skill check off will take approximately 30 minutes. After registering, they will be sent an email with instructions on how to schedule the skill check off which can be done at any time the College is open.
